THE SHAPE OF SOUND
Going beyond what is measurable
21
Sound waves are formed by elastic energy: it is important to understand them both as corpuscles and waves. Sound waves do not have a perfect geometry. Light's scattering effect also applies to sound waves.

Francesco Pellisari's work and research are entirely focused on the reproduction of non-coherent sound waves.

The collision of art and technology has been empowering to artist to explore the beauty of math. The research by Francesco in the sound wave and the physics of the sound irradiation give him comprehension of nature and develop sculptures of massive beauty that require no intellectual argument: they are just naturally, immediately understandable without any explanation.
